Latest standings… this isn’t final until the end of June but what an accomplishment for Crawford High School students and staff! Points are earned by how well you place as a team in sanctioned UIL Athletic/Academic championships.


It was a great week at softball camp! The week ended with some of the Varsity girls signing t-shirts for all the campers! Thanks to all who participated!!

Crawford High School is excited to welcome Ray Lowe to our staff! He will be starting his 44th year in education this fall. He graduated from Coleman High School in 1975. He graduated from Angelo State University in 1980 with a BS degree in kinesiology with a minor in history. He received a MA in history in 2010 from American Military University. He taught and coached in public schools for 29 years.He retired from public school in 2009 and started teaching at Texas Christian Academy and later Eagle Christian Academy in Waco. He has also taught part time for MCC as a history instructor since 2010. He taught 2 classes of dual credit history at Crawford last year. Mr. Lowe has been married for 44 years to his wife, Ramona. They have 3 children and 6 grandchildren. Him and his wife enjoy going to Baylor football and women’s basketball games. They also enjoy gardening. He is looking forward to teaching at Crawford in the upcoming school year where he will be teaching dual credit history and other history classes as assigned.

Congratulations to our CHS Cheerleaders and Mascot who were all nominated and awarded All-American! Madelyn Allen, Madelyn Buie, Ava Abel, Adi Maddox, and Kennedy Clark were all named All-American Cheerleaders! Emma Glass was awarded All-American Mascot!




Final Day of Cheer Camp! Lady Pirates won: 1st place cheer, 2nd place overall, Game Day Routine, 3rd place Camp Routine, Traditions Awards, and the Mascot was awarded the Prop Master!

Join us for the Crawford Elementary Summer Reading Program that starts tomorrow!


Crawford Elementary is excited to announce that Ashley Kendrick will be joining their staff as a 3rd grade teacher! Ashley is a Crawford alumni, and later graduated from Tarleton State University. She spent seven years working at the Methodist Children’s Home before joining the China Spring school district where she worked as a PE paraprofessional and taught 2nd grade. Her and her husband have two spunky littles named Brazos and Maggie. She is so humbled to be a part of this amazing school district, and she can’t wait for this new school year to get started!



Day 3: Crawford Varsity and Mascot were awarded another spirit stick!
Lila was pinned tonight for the Pin It Forward award! Varsity cheer also earned an amazing blue ribbon for Camp Routine evaluations!
Madelyn Allen, Madelyn Buie, Ava Abel, Adi Maddox, and Kennedy Clark all were nominated and awarded All-American Cheerleader!
Emma Glass was nominated and awarded All-American Mascot.
Maddelyn Allen was offered as one of the seniors to tryout for UCA staff!




Day Two! CHS cheerleaders received the GOLD SUPERIOR ribbon for their Game Day Evaluation! One squad receives this from each division! The squad earned their 2nd spirit and our mascot earned and individual spirit stick as well. Madelyn Allen was awarded the Pin It Forward award for demonstrating great kindness and encouragement throughout camp!
