Volleyball games vs Tolar on Friday, August 30th, will be played at Gatesville High School. Varsity will play at 4:30 and JV Gold will follow. There will be no JV Black game.

Parent meeting for cross country: Monday August 19th at 7:30 pm in room 129. If you have a kid playing jr high volleyball and running cross country go to the volleyball meeting first in the library and then go to room 129 to get cross country information.
Junior High Volleyball Parents: There will be a junior high volleyball parent meeting at 7:30PM, after Blast-off, on Monday, August 19, in the high school library.
Blast Off/ Meet the Teacher will be held Monday, August 19th, from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. There will be Food Trucks set up at both campuses from 5 - 8 p.m. There will also be many booths set up at both campuses . Too many booths to list but you will be able to get everything taken care to get this new school year kicked off right! Make sure you visit the Booster Club Booth to buy your Pirate gear including your football tshirt and much more! High School students will be able to get their parking pass and class schedule. Yearbooks can be picked up at the High School. Elementary students will be able to meet their teacher and put school supplies in desks. Supplies ordered from PTO will be on student desks. Make plans now to attend this fun event!!
Varsity football team will scrimmage in Hearne this evening starting at 7 pm (not at 6 as previously reported). It will be a varsity only scrimmage. GO PIRATES!!

Attention: High School students who drive a vehicle to school. Please get your parking permit from Mr. Pritchett during Blast Off. Please bring the following information: know the make of your vehicle, provide the color of your vehicle, know your license plate number.
The parking permits are free. If you lose it you will have to pay to get another. If you drive different vehicles you can use the same permit, as it is transferable.
Middle School Parent Information: There will be lockers installed in the Middle School. We were not able get them installed before school starts but they will be in before the end of the Fall Semester.
It has been a busy summer at Crawford ISD! Middle School got a new coat of interior paint, new carpet, new tile, and renovated bathrooms! The high school wall facing the track also got a new coat of paint.

TOMORROW....New Student Registration for 6th – 12th Graders: New student registration (for students NEW to Crawford ISD) will be held again tomorrow, August 6, from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm in the high school lobby. Parents of new students need to bring the following items to complete enrollment: 1. Certified copy of birth certificate 2. Social security card 3. Shot record 4. Proof of residency (current utility bill with name and address) 5. Driver’s license of parent enrolling student. Counselors will be available to discuss scheduling options. If possible, bring previous school records to help with the scheduling process. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the high school at 254-486-2381.
Advanced VB Camp was held Monday - Wednesday of this week! These Lady Pirates will have their first scrimmage on Monday (Aug. 5th) at 2 p.m. at University. GO CRAWFORD!!
