Join us for the Crawford Elementary Summer Reading Program that starts tomorrow!

Crawford Elementary is excited to announce that Ashley Kendrick will be joining their staff as a 3rd grade teacher! Ashley is a Crawford alumni, and later graduated from Tarleton State University. She spent seven years working at the Methodist Children’s Home before joining the China Spring school district where she worked as a PE paraprofessional and taught 2nd grade. Her and her husband have two spunky littles named Brazos and Maggie. She is so humbled to be a part of this amazing school district, and she can’t wait for this new school year to get started!


Day 3: Crawford Varsity and Mascot were awarded another spirit stick!
Lila was pinned tonight for the Pin It Forward award! Varsity cheer also earned an amazing blue ribbon for Camp Routine evaluations!
Madelyn Allen, Madelyn Buie, Ava Abel, Adi Maddox, and Kennedy Clark all were nominated and awarded All-American Cheerleader!
Emma Glass was nominated and awarded All-American Mascot.
Maddelyn Allen was offered as one of the seniors to tryout for UCA staff!



Day Two! CHS cheerleaders received the GOLD SUPERIOR ribbon for their Game Day Evaluation! One squad receives this from each division! The squad earned their 2nd spirit and our mascot earned and individual spirit stick as well. Madelyn Allen was awarded the Pin It Forward award for demonstrating great kindness and encouragement throughout camp!





First Day of camp and Crawford Varsity Cheerleaders were awarded The Banana! Out of every squad, large and small, they were the squad selected! So proud of our Lady Pirates!




Last day of Hoops Camp! Big thanks to all who attended and made this such a FUN week! These campers worked hard, played hard, and learned a lot!

Day 1 of Crawford Hoops Camp for students in grades 6-9 is in full swing!





It was LOTS OF FUN at Day 1 of Hoops Camp this morning!









Please help us in welcoming Eunice Boedeker to Crawford ISD! She will be a Counselor, and will be working with the Elementary students each week. Mrs. Boedeker grew up in Victoria County, Texas. She graduated from Bloomington High School. She attended Victoria College (doubles tennis champion with her sister), Incarnate Word in San Antonio (lettered in volleyball), TAMU, and received her BSBA in Management from University of Houston-Victoria. She received her Masters of Education in Counseling from Lamar University. She has taught HS Business and Computer courses for many years at Bloomington and Calhoun. She has also been a School Counselor at McGregor for the past 4 years. While teaching, she was in the US Army Reserves for several years. She took a break from teaching and worked at Invista as administrative assistant and then Chemical Process Operator. Her 3 1/2 years before counseling, she was a Flight Attendant with Omni Air International and flew world-wide. She loves spending as much time as she can with her 4 grandchildren! She enjoys staying busy swimming, walking, exploring, traveling, dancing, baking, cooking, playing games, crafting, and reading.


Please join us in welcoming Tammy Westerfield to the Crawford High School Staff! She will be teaching High School Science. She grew up in Brazil as a daughter of missionary parents. She graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio and has taught for the past 16 years in San Antonio, Uvalde, Killeen and Fort Worth. She is married to Lane Westerfield. She has 3 adult sons and 1 adult daughter. She has a granddaughter and 3 grandsons, and has grandson #4 coming in September! When she is not visiting grandbabies, she likes to garden and complete DIY projects around their house. She is very excited to be a part of the Crawford district and community!

We are excited to welcome Stevie Sanchez back to Crawford ISD! Mrs. Sanchez will be teaching 5th grade at Crawford Elementary. She graduated from Crawford High School in 2005 and then went on to earn her bachelors through Texas Tech University. She has spent the past 5 years teaching in Valley Mills, the last four years teaching second grade. Her and her husband Ryan have four children: Olivia (10), Jackson (9), Jett (3) and Jace (2). They spend most of their free time running between baseball, softball, football, volleyball, and basketball, but they also love the beach! They are very excited to be back in Crawford!
