There is lots of excitement at Crawford Elementary this morning! Not only is it Friday but they also had a great drop off as some Senior Varsity Foortball players were there to greet them this morning!
PLEASE NOTE: There is no Pep Rally today. But make plans to come out and support your Pirates at the ICE CREAM BOWL/ MEET THE PIRATES that will be held tonight at Pirate Field! Meet the Pirates will start at 5:45 pm. JV will scrimmage at 6 p.m. and Varsity will scrimmage starting at 7:15 p.m. Ice Cream will be served around 8:30 pm. Don't miss out on the fun!

Message from Mrs. Stout: It was a great first day at Crawford Elementary! If your child is a car rider please make sure you have your child's name clearly marked on a peice of paper. The paper must be displayed in a very visible place. A lot of the parents are putting the paper on a plastic clothes hanger and then hanging it from their rear view window or to their visor. Please make sure that you keep it visible or hanging up until after you have picked up your child and they are in the car with you. Just waving the piece of paper at the teachers is making it hard for them to have the children lined up as they need to be to ensure a smooth process. Thank you for doing your part to help keep our Little Pirates safe during afternoon pickup!

Parent Orientation Meetings will be held next week at Crawford Elementary. These meetings are for parents & guardians only. No Students please. Grades K- 2nd meeting will be held Monday, August 26th. Grades 3 - 5 meeting will be held Wednesday, August 28th. Both meetings will be held at 6 p.m. There are many new changes this year. We are so excited to share these with you. Teachers will give details about what is happending at school and how to help your student have a great year!

School starts on Wednesday for the Crawford Pirates: Start the day off right and be on time, have all of your supplies, be in dress code and ready to receive the best education possible. We want to make the first 20 days the best to start the year off right. #firsttwentydays

Blast Off/ Meet the Teacher will be held TONIGHT from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. at both campuses. There will also be Food Trucks set up at both campuses from 5 - 8 p.m. This is an event you won't want to miss!!
Volleyball games vs Tolar on Friday, August 30th, will be played at Gatesville High School. Varsity will play at 4:30 and JV Gold will follow. There will be no JV Black game.
P3- Remember Monday night is Blastoff....see all you Crawford Pirates from 5:30-7:30!
Parent meeting for cross country: Monday August 19th at 7:30 pm in room 129. If you have a kid playing jr high volleyball and running cross country go to the volleyball meeting first in the library and then go to room 129 to get cross country information.
